Fantasy impact: When the Bears drafted the former South Carolina Gamecock prior to the 2012 season, they did so imagining that Jeffrey was a special talent that would complement top target Brandon Marshall very well.
Against the Lions in Week 4, Jeffrey showed that he could make an impact on the game much the way that Marshall normally would. The difference in this instance was that quarterback Jay Cutler was off of his game and forced to gun the ball down the field.
Jeffrey, Marshall and tight end Martellus Bennett received 37 targets out of the Cutler's 47 pass attempts.
Jeffrey and the Bears will play the New Orleans Saints in Week 5, a team that he has yet to face in his career. The Saints have given up the fifth-fewest amount of fantasy points to wide receivers this season, so fantasy owners should take Jeffrey's Week 4 performance with a grain of salt.
