Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was clearly outplayed by San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers in a 30-21 defeat in Week 4. Romo completed 27 passes for 242 passing yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
Tony Romo exhibits solid fantasy performance in loss
The Cowboys quarterback just couldn’t keep up with his counterpart in San Diego in a Week 4 loss. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Romo just couldn’t do enough to put the game away in the second half, and the Chargers used their window of opportunity to mount a comeback and win. Luckily Romo’s inability to lead his team to victory means little in the fantasy world.
No matter what the Cowboys’ record has been at any given time during Romo’s time as the team’s quarterback, Romo is a pretty solid fantasy performer. The pro bowl caliber gunslinger has thrown eight touchdowns compared to one interception this season and is averaging over 250 passing yards per game.
Romo was without the services of wide receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) and couldn't seem to get on the same page with tight end Jason Witten. That said, he hooked up with his number one receiver Dez Bryant for both of this touchdown tosses.
Fantasy owners can bet that Romo will have to be in top form when the Cowboys host the undefeated Denver Broncos in Week 5. With the Broncos scoring touchdowns at a furious pace, Romo has a shot at posting huge fantasy numbers in the immediate future.
