Dallas Cowboys superstar wide receiver Dez Bryant carried the load for the Cowboys on offense in a 30-21 defeat at the hands of the San Diego Chargers. Bryant finished with six catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
Dez Bryant a steady fantasy horse in losing effort
The Cowboys’ top receiver produced very good fantasy numbers against the Chargers in a Week 4 loss. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Bryant's performance against the Chargers was quite impressive, especially considering that quarterback Tony Romo's options were limited. The Pro Bowl quarterback didn't have Miles Austin in the lineup due to a hamstring injury, and he couldn't seem to get on the same page with tight end Jason Witten.
Bryant is without a doubt one of the most prolific fantasy pass catchers in the game today, alongside the likes of Detroit’s Calvin Johnson and Chicago’s Brandon Marshall. Through four games, Bryant is averaging 70.5 receiving yards a game, a number that should creep up a bit higher as the season goes along.
Although that average is 16 yards less than that of Bryant’s 2012 output, the fourth-year receiver is on pace for 16 touchdowns this season, which would easily place him among the league’s leaders and represent a career high.
There is no doubt Bryant will be counted on for big time production when the Cowboys host the well-oiled offense that is Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in Week 5. Fantasy owners should consider Bryant a must start talent week in and week out.
