Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White has made it pretty clear that fantasy owners should avoid starting him until he's healthy ... and he wasn't kidding. White has been very bad this season, due to the fact that he suffered a high ankle sprain early on and rather than rest it has insisted on playing and not giving it time to heal.
Roddy White plays through injury again, disappoints in fantasy once more
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White played through injury again on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

White has routinely been described as a decoy, to take the heat off of Julio Jones, but that can only be said so many times until it's just very clear that White is only out there because he wants to be. He's said that he will rest during the team's bye week and not a moment sooner, so needless to say, he should not be started until that point.
In Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, White caught three passes for 28 yards and no touchdowns. He has just 84 receiving yards on the season, so his 28 yards can be seen as progress to some extent.
Fantasy Impact: White has said that fans shouldn't start him in fantasy and that will be the case until, at the very least, Week 7. He said he will rest during the bye week, and will likely "play through the pain" against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football in Week 5. The bye week is Week 6, so be on the lookout for another option for the next two weeks, fantasy owners.
