Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has not been the same player as he was in his first three seasons. He scored an incredible 28 rushing touchdowns in his first three seasons combined and didn't miss a single game. This season, he's yet to hit paydirt and missed the 2014 season opener.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 6: Cam Newton
Cam Newton hasn’t been the same since his rib injury back in the preseason. Can he get his season going for fantasy owners in Week 6?

Additionally, after 24 passing touchdowns in 2013, he only has five this season. Newton does not have the greatest group of weapons and the drops from receiver Kelvin Benjamin have cost him a couple scores. Plus, the Panthers have arguably the worst situation at running back with a myriad of injuries.
This week, he'll travel to Paul Brown Stadium to face the Cincinnati Bengals. They have shut down Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan at home and kept the Tennessee Titans to just seven points in their other home game.
Fantasy impact: Cam just isn’t a must-start option right now. He could wind up turning it around, but his body of work and the sub-par matchup make him someone that should be on most fantasy benches.
