Gerhart actually practiced in full on Wednesday, but suffered a setback with his sprain and has now been ruled out.
Toby Gerhart injury update: RB ruled out; Storm Johnson may have fantasy value
Toby Gerhart is out for Week 6 against the Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.

At this point, rookie running back Storm Johnson may be in line to take over the bulk of the carries. Jacksonville has talked him up big time the past couple weeks and he might be staring at an opportunity with Gerhart missing this game. Johnson has a lot of big-play potential and the Titans aren't particularly good at stopping the run. The Titans allow 136.8 rushing yards per game on average, 26th in the league.
Fantasy Impact: Gerhart started this season as someone with the potential to break out and have a big fantasy year. That never happened and fantasy owners who invested in him have to be disappointed. Johnson could go either way at this point, but unless you have a couple guaranteed options that are better, he’s worth looking into. Johnson should be considered a high-risk, high-reward type player against the Titans in Week 6.
