The Minnesota Vikings have listed their two primary running back as probable for Sunday's Week 6 divisional matchup with the Detroit Lions. Matt Asiata was a full participant in practice, but was listed as having a groin injury. Asiata rushed 15 times for 72 yards in Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers. Jerick McKinnon was also a full participant in practice, but was listed as having an ankle injury. McKinnon rushed seven times for 24 yards, and had three receptions for 22 yards in Week 5.
Matt Asiata, Jerick McKinnon injury update: Vikings running backs expected to play for fantasy owners
Minnesota Vikings running backs Matt Asiata and Jerick McKinnon are both listed as probable for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Asiata is the starter in Minnesota, getting double-digit carries each week since Week 2. McKinnon is on the radar after his 18-carry performance in Week 4, but considering Asiata had 20 carries that same game, it is hard to put too much value in McKinnon. For now, he is a bye week fill-in with decent upside, and a whole lot of downside. Asiata, on the other hand, is a solid start, even against a Lions defense that is second against the run. Asiata won’t put up huge numbers, but you’re guaranteed to get volume.
