Denver Broncos running back Montee Ball (groin) has been ruled out for the team's Week 6 matchup against the New York Jets. Ball is likely facing a two-to-three week timetable for his return. C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman will pick up the slack with Juwan Thompson also factoring into the mix.
Montee Ball injury update: RB ruled out for Broncos, fantasy owners
Denver Broncos running back Monte Ball has been ruled out for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Ball’s sophomore campaign left much to be desired before he went down. Through four games, he rushed 55 times for 172 yards (3.1 YPC) and only found the end zone once. Anderson and Hillman figure to split the majority of the carries in Ball’s absence, and the Broncos will likely take a hot hand approach. Ball is at risk of having his workload scaled back upon his return if any of the three backs can consistently move the chains. None of the backs can be trusted as more than a RB3 as the Jets’ front seven gives up the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs.
