Cleveland Browns running back Terrance West is inactive for Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is a healthy scratch and has clearly been leapfrogged by fellow rookie tailback Isaiah Crowell.
Isaiah Crowell becomes a strong fantasy asset with Terrance West inactive
Isaiah Crowell has shined while Terrance West has looked terrible. We break down the fantasy implications.

While West was a third-round draft pick and Crowell was picked up as an undrafted free agent, Crowell has dominated in the backfield by comparison. He has a 4.8 yards-per-carry average despite just one rush of more than 20, meaning he’s picking up nice chunks of yards frequently.
West has a 4.4 yards-per-carry average, but that number is inflated due to a 6.3 in Week 1. Ben Tate is healthy for now, but it's likely just a matter of time before he goes down. West will be active again at some point, but the team has lowered its expectations.
Fantasy impact: Crowell should be owned in all 12-team leagues as a great handcuff. He should get close to double-digit carries and is a low-end flex while Tate is healthy.
