New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell had a slow day against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The second-year tight end caught just one pass for six yards, though he did have a touchdown reception erased by a penalty. Donnell has generated plenty of hype as a potential breakout tight end this season, but he's struggled over the past two weeks.
Larry Donnell has slow day, but fantasy outlook remains positive going forward
New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell had a slow day against the Eagles on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Donnell did not catch any passes against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6. Prior to that, he caught seven passes for 54 yards and three touchdowns against the Washington football team. That's what folks are looking for when Donnell is on the field, but the Giants as a whole struggled mightily against the rival Eagles, being shutout by a score of 27-0.
Fantasy Impact: Donnell still has a ton of upside as a tight end. Fantasy owners should keep him on the roster and legitimately view him as a starter going forward. The Dallas Cowboys are up next, and they're not particularly good at stopping tight ends, even if the Giants aren't likely to win the game. Donnell should be a must-start in that game, especially as the Giants adjust to life without Victor Cruz, who sustained a serious injury on Sunday.
