Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush missed Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, but plans to be back for Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints. Bush said that he is going to play in that game "for sure," as reported by Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Reggie Bush will play in Week 7 ‘for sure,’ but is a risky fantasy play
Reggie Bush says he’ll play in Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bush reportedly didn't test his sprained ankle prior to Sunday's game against the Lions' NFC North rivals. Bush carried the load for the Lions in Week 5, thanks to an injury to Joique Bell, but the roles were reversed against the Vikings. Bell wound up getting 18 carries and put up 74 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings. Theo Riddick was the second running back on the field, and he managed to catch five passes for 75 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: Riddick getting those receptions is kind of a big deal, given that’s what Bush generally excels at. But at this point, Bush hasn’t done a whole lot this season. He trails Bell with 45 carries for 161 yards and a touchdown this season -- Bell has 66 carries for 226 yards and two touchdowns. That said, fantasy owners who still believe in Bush can count on him being available for Week 7.
