Washington tight end Jordan Reed was eased back into action on Sunday, taking part in 35 of the team's 65 offensive snaps. Reed has been dealing with a hamstring injury and has missed the team's past four games with said injury. Despite playing in just over 50 percent of the team's offensive snaps, Reed managed to catch eight passes for 92 yards.
Jordan Reed plays 35 offensive snaps in return; fantasy value on the rise
Jordan Reed played just over 50 percent of Washington’s offensive snaps in his return. We break down the fantasy implications.

Niles Paul, the man who filled in for Reed while he was injured, still managed to play in 32 snaps. But Paul caught just one pass for 7 yards in the game. Paul is second on the team with 23 receptions for 326 yards and a touchdown, but Reed is obviously expected to make up ground quick. He played extremely well in limited playing time and should be expected to get more and more work as things progress.
Fantasy Impact: Reed was a noted fantasy sleeper throughout the offseason, but his hamstring injury derailed things significantly. That said, he’s back on track now and fantasy owners should consider him a starting tight end on a week-to-week basis. He should wind up getting the bulk of Washington’s offensive snaps, and should make a difference going forward.
