Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin was held out of practice on Wednesday. Benjamin is in the league's concussion protocol and should be considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
Kelvin Benjamin misses practice Wednesday, fantasy status up in the air
Benjamin is in the concussion protocol and did not practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Benjamin took a big shot from Vontaze Burfict in last week's tie with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was briefly held out of the game, but returned later, playing 66 of 84 offensive snaps. Benjamin finished the game with seven catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. One of the early front-runners for Offensive Rookie of the Year, Benjamin has a 31-416-4 line through six games.
Fantasy impact: We will know more about Benjamin's status after Friday, but it's not a guarantee he'll be cleared in time to play on Sunday. Fantasy owners should start making other plans for their WR2 position. Cam Newton's fantasy upside takes a hit without his No. 1 receiver, but he's still a recommended start against the Packers defense. Look for Greg Olsen to see even more targets if Benjamin is forced to sit.
