Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington was held out of practice on Wednesday. It was his usual day of rest, and he should be ready for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Fantasy owners shouldn’t worry about Andre Ellington’s missed practice
Andre Ellington got his usual rest day on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ellington has been dealing with a foot injury since the season opener, but it hasn’t slowed him down in any way. He has yet to miss a game and is flourishing in his new role as the Cardinals’ feature back. Through five games, Ellington has 493 total yards and two touchdowns on 100 touches.
Fantasy impact: The foot issue might keep him on the injury report all year (and possibly require surgery in the offseason), but Ellington has shown no signs of slowing down. He has a juicy matchup with a Raiders defense that gave up 124 total yards to Branden Oliver in Week 6. Fantasy owners can fire up Ellington as a safe RB2 in most weeks. His production might even pick up with Carson Palmer back to provide stability at quarterback.
