The New England Patriots lost their primary runner in Week 6 with Stevan Ridley going down to MCL and ACL tears. Ridley was getting the lion's share of the carries, especially in the second half.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Brandon Bolden, James White
With Stevan Ridley out for the year, there could be some new value coming out of the Patriots backfield this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Now, the Patriots will have to count on Brandon Bolden and rookie James White. Bolden took over Ridley's role in Week 6 and carried the ball six times down the stretch against the Buffalo Bills. He was more of a special-teams guy, but the Pats moved him into the offense out of necessity.
The team will likely active White for this week. He was a healthy scratch for Week 6, which is a mild surprise after he put up a solid preseason. White is a nice short-yardage guy, but not having reps with the first team is going to hurt his chances.
The Patriots tend to focus on attacking weaknesses of their opponents. This week, the New York Jets have a disaster scenario in their secondary, so it should be a pass-happy approach.
Fantasy impact: Bolden should be owned in most leagues and White is worth a stash, as well. However, fantasy owners shouldn’t start either one in a bad matchup.
