When it comes to New England Patriots receiver Brandon LaFell, it's always about consistency. He was hit or miss with the Carolina Panthers and that was a big reason why the Panthers didn't bring him back, even though they desperately needed a receiver at the time.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Brandon LaFell
Brandon LaFell had a monster game against the Bills on Week 6. Can he do it again in Week 7? We break down the fantasy implications.

It’s been a roller coaster over the last three weeks. In Week 4 he posted 119 receiving yards and one score, he only put up 20 receiving yards in Week 5, and then he exploded in Week 6 with two touchdowns and 97 receiving yards.
He's been a deep threat for the Patriots and he has a yards-per-catch average of 18.8 on the season. LaFell is never going to be a polished route runner, so he will continue to have his ups and downs. This week, the New York Jets are extremely prone to the deep ball, so it could be a big day for LaFell.
Fantasy impact: There is little reason to play LaFell right now. Fantasy owners should absolutely pick him up in 12-team leagues, but he’s not reliable enough to start yet.
