New York Jets running back Chris Ivory was playing well on the season, but he ran into a brick wall against the Denver Broncos in Week 6. Ivory had just seven rushing yards on eight carries, which dropped his yards-per-carry average to just 4.9.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Chris Ivory
Chris Ivory has been the better back for the Jets, but should you start him on a short week.

He was performing quite well before that dud, rushing for at least 44 yards in each of the five games. Ivory is running circles around fellow tailback Chris Johnson and he's earned the lion's share of the carries.
The Jets have really struggled at putting points on the board and quarterback Geno Smith is not making any strides as a passer. They'll really need to establish the run against the New England Patriots in Week 7 to have a chance, but they are unlikely to score more than 20, which they've failed to do in each of the last three games.
Ivory has been getting most of the carries and he should get over 10 on Thursday. The Patriots are missing linebacker Jerod Mayo, so they should be vulnerable in the middle.
Fantasy impact: The Jets are just too bad on offense to be viable fantasy plays. Ivory is worth owning, but he should be on your bench on a short week.
