The New York Jets finally unleashed second-round draft pick, tight end Jace Amaro, against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The rookie was targeted a team-high 12 times, catching 10 of them for 68 yards and one score. He'll look to keep it going against the New England Patriots on Thursday.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Jace Amaro
Jace Amare was a big part of the offense in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

He was not targeted more than five times in any of the previous five games, but the Jets finally realized they need him in their offense. He’s caught an impressive 24 of 29 of his targets and has an 8.8 yards-per-catch average, so that means he’s picking up 7.3 yards every time he’s targeted.
Besides receiver Eric Decker, Amaro is easily the next-best option in the passing game. Considering how quarterback Geno Smith can't throw the ball down the field, it makes too much sense to get Amaro involved.
Fantasy impact: While the Pats do not have linebacker Jerod Mayo, it's still going to be too risky to trust Amaro as a TE1. Although, if you don't like your tight end, it's not a bad idea to stash him because his arrow is pointing up.
