Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said that he needs to do a better job of getting running back Marshawn Lynch the football, as reported by Gregg Bell of The News Tribune. Lynch carried the ball just 10 times against the Dallas Cowboys, and Bevell has been getting some flack for abandoning the running game.
Seahawks want to get Marshawn Lynch more carries; fantasy value still high
Marshawn Lynch only had 10 carries against the Dallas Cowboys and Darrell Bevell knows that was a mistake. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lynch is running the football very well, with 79 carries for 367 yards and three touchdowns. But he was held to just 61 rushing yards against the Cowboys. He could have and should have had more, given that he was running at an impressive 6.1 yards per carry, his highest average of the season. It’s especially out of line given that the Seahawks weren’t blown out by the Cowboys, so it’s not as though they were forced to abandon the run game (especially when your team is averaging just 186.0 passing yards per game).
Fantasy Impact: Lynch is going to get his carries eventually, but he’s currently on pace for just 252 on the year. He’s had more than 300 carries over the past couple seasons. If Bevell is serious and wants to get more carries for Lynch (he’s made it clear he doesn’t care about your fantasy teams, however), then he could easily get back on track for 300-plus if the Seahawks make the proper adjustments. His fantasy value is just fine for the time being.
