Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker was in practice for the second day in a row on Thursday. He is making more progress with his sore thumb, but the Titans have yet to name their starter for Week 7 against Washington.
Jake Locker making more progress in practice, still not a fantasy guarantee
Jake Locker practiced again, but the Titans aren’t sure if he’ll be ready for Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

Locker missed Week 4 with a wrist injury and was forced to sit out Week 6 with his thumb issue. The fourth-year quarterback has yet to play a full 16-game season. Charlie Whitehurst got the start in Tennessee's Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and took the majority of first-team reps on Thursday.
Fantasy impact: Neither player is a worthy fantasy option outside of two-quarterback leagues, but Justin Hunter and Delanie Walker owners should be hoping that Locker comes back soon. The Titans have a plus matchup with Washington's defense this week, but Checkdown Charlie limits the entire offense across the board. Locker could end up being a game-time decision, but we should know more about his status when the Titans release their final injury report on Friday.
