New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram was a full participant in practice on Thursday. He also put in a full session on Wednesday and will be in the lineup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Mark Ingram is back to being a fantasy must-own player
Mark Ingram is back at practice and he didn’t lose his job. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ingram has been out since Week 2 due to a hand injury and most signs point to him getting back in the mix soon. Backup Khiry Robinson didn't set the world on fire as the starter, but a 62-yard run against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4 helped buoy his average.
Additionally, Pierre Thomas wasn't great between the tackles and has only carried the ball six times in the last two games combined. Ingram could be eased back into action considering how much time he missed, but the job will definitely be there for him at some point in October.
Fantasy impact: He needs to be owned everywhere, but this is not a great matchup for him. It’s a road game and the Lions are fantastic at stopping the run. Just stash him for now.
