New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith completed 20 of his 34 passes against New England Patriots on Thursday for 226 yards and one score.
Geno Smith has another sub-par fantasy outing
Geno Smith just can’t get it going since Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

He added seven rushes for 37 yards and just couldn’t get in a rhythm. Smith has been holding on to the ball way too long and it’s led to a lot of pressure in his face, which has resulted in an inability to get the ball down the field. He completed just two passes for more than 16 yards and his yards-per-attempt average has been ugly.
On the bright side, he didn’t throw a pick, which is a surprise because he’s the only player in the league to throw a pick in each of the first six games of the season. He has a QBR of just 32.6, which ranks 31st in the league.
Fantasy impact: Things were looking up in the first week, but clearly that had a lot to do with the matchup against the Oakland Raiders. Geno is a low-end QB2 with little upside.
