Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart is officially listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. That said, there's no doubt that Stewart will play for the Week 7 matchup, as the Panthers have already stated that Stewart will start the game. He has to be listed on the injury report because he's been missing games and practice, hence the probable designation.
Jonathan Stewart injury update: Panthers RB will start; has decent fantasy value
Jonathan Stewart is probable, but will play against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stewart has been out of the lineup since sustaining a knee injury in Week 3, a big blow to the Panthers offense as DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert are also hurt. The primary rushing duties have been left to Darrin Reaves, Fozzy Whittaker and quarterback Cam Newton, who leads the team in rushing yards. Newton has 149 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Fantasy Impact: The Panthers have been horrible running the ball this season. Williams has been out for most of the time, and Stewart has been inactive since Week 3. Carolina rushes for just 86.8 rushing yards per game, which ranks them 28th in the league. Stewart may or may not be able to right the ship, but if fantasy owners have been slumming it with the Panthers’ running back position thus far, Stewart’s return is huge. The Packers are terrible at stopping the run as well, so Stewart definitely has some fantasy upside in this game.
