Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is listed as questionable for Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints. Johnson is dealing with an ankle injury and it seems unlikely that he'll play. Johnson was injured prior to Week 4, but started that game and the next while being used primarily as a decoy. He only saw three targets in those two games.
Calvin Johnson injury update: Lions WR questionable; unlikely to play for fantasy owners
Calvin Johnson is listed as questionable for Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

Recently, Johnson expressed frustration in his role as a decoy. Even running routes at half speed to tie up a cornerback can't be good for his ankle, and the Lions almost assuredly did more harm than good. Johnson was finally inactive against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He hasn't been practicing this week, either, and the questionable designation seems generous.
Fantasy Impact: Johnson has had a down year by his standards, but fantasy owners should take his pending absence from this game as a good thing for the rest of the season. He’s likely being given the chance to actually get healthy. In the two games he was used as a decoy, he had 19 yards receiving. In the previous three games, he managed 164, 83 and 82 yards. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere this week -- though the Lions do play an early game if you want some false hope.
