New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram (hand) is listed as probable and will suit up for the team's Week 7 game against the Detroit Lions. Ingram practiced in full throughout the week and will split carries along with Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas.
Mark Ingram injury update: RB probable, expected to return for fantasy owners
New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram is listed as probable. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Ingram will likely be eased back into action, and how big of a role he'll play isn't clear to this point. He did prove in the first two weeks that he doesn't need a ton of work to be productive. He found the end zone three times in those two weeks and rushed for 143 yards on 24 carries (6.0 YPC). Assuming that Ingram sees about 10 carries, Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson won't see their value take a dramatic dive. Thomas has always been more valuable in PPR formats, which isn't a strength of Ingram's. Robinson's value could take the bigger hit if Ingram resumes his role as the goal line back.
None of the Saints backs are particular strong plays. In addition to Ingram’s unknown workload, the Lions give up the eighth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. None of these backs are more than a Flex play in Week 7.
