Vernon Davis injury update: TE probable, will suit up for fantasy owners
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is listed as probable. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Nagging injuries have taken a toll on Davis and his effectiveness throughout the year. He scored twice in Week 1, but hasn’t found the end zone since and his 10.1 YPC is the second-lowest average of his career. Davis is way too talented for owners to give up on him, and he’s still capable of dropping a monster line on any given week. However, at this point, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to have a viable alternative TE play if owners can manage. Davis will take on a Broncos defense that gives up the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Davis is a classic boom-or-bust TE1 play in Week 7.
