Cordarrelle Patterson injury update: WR probable, will play for fantasy owners
Minnesota Vikings Cordarrelle Patterson is listed as probable for Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Owners who drafted Patterson as a high-upside flier are still patiently waiting for him to translate his athleticism into consistent fantasy production. Patterson’s lone touchdown of his 2014 campaign came back in Week 1. Since then, Patterson hasn’t caught more than four balls in a game, has failed to have more than 61 yards receiving in any game and his two rushing attempts resulted in a net total of -5 yards. He has been able to chip in some in kickoff return, but not enough to make a significant difference.
Patterson should find some room going up against the Bills and their soft secondary, which gives up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Despite the plus matchup, relying on Patterson for significant points is a desperation move. He’s a classic boom-or-bust WR4.
