Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is listed on the injury report with an ankle issue, getting in a limited practice on Thursday. He was also limited on Wednesday, but is not expected to miss the game Sunday against the New York Giants.
Fantasy owners shouldn’t worry about Julio Jones’ limited practice
Julio Jones was limited in practice on Thursday, but it’s not a major concern. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Falcons have been managing Jones’ practice reps after his lengthy recovery from a broken foot, but it hasn’t affected his game-day performance. Through four games, Jones has exploded for 29 catches, 447 yards and three touchdowns, putting him on pace for 116 receptions, 1,788 yards and 12 scores on the season.
Fantasy impact: His limited practice isn’t a concern, and at worst he might be listed as probable this week. Jones hasn’t missed a beat since the foot injury ended his 2013 season early, and he’s locked in as a top-five receiver as long as he’s healthy. The Giants have an improved defense this year, but still rank 22nd in passing yards per game allowed. Jones is one of the top matchup-proof receivers in fantasy football.
