Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will not play against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night. He was a game-time decision to play due to a high-ankle sprain suffered on Sunday. It will be Christian Ponder in the starting lineup.
Teddy Bridgewater won’t play against Packers, remains a fantasy stash
Teddy Bridgwater will not play against the Packers in Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Vikings believe that Bridgewater would have been active had this game been played on Sunday. That bodes well for his chances to play in Week 6 and beyond. He had a fantastic game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4, passing for 317 yards to go with his one rushing score.
Fantasy impact: The Vikings do not have a great defense and Bridgewater is going to have to play from behind a lot. He has a chance to put up big-time fantasy numbers as a low-end QB1, so he’s worth stashing in most leagues. Meanwhile, Ponder is probably going to get abused on Thursday and fantasy owners can look to the Packers D/ST as a great streaming option.
