Fantasy football Week 5 projections: Texans-Cowboys featuring DeAndre Hopkins, Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray
We break down the Week 5 matchup between the Houston Texans and the Dallas Cowboys.

Houston Texans
DeAndre Hopkins has been the leading wide receiver in the Texans' passing game this season. It seems Father Time may finally be catching up to Andre Johnson and that the torch may already have been passed. Hopkins found the end zone for his third score of the season against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4. While it's a bit concerning to his fantasy owners that he was only targeted six times in a game where Johnson missed time with an ankle injury, it's clear Hopkins is the team's main threat down the field right now. The Cowboys have been good against wide receivers this year, but Hopkins should still get plenty of looks on Sunday.
That's especially true if running back Arian Foster (hamstring) doesn't play in the game. It looks like he'll be a game-time decision for the third week in a row against the Cowboys, and last week he only managed 6 yards on eight carries against the Bills. If Foster can't go, Alfred Blue will take over, but either running back is in for a tough time against a very good Cowboys rush defense. While Foster did somewhat save his fantasy day in PPR leagues last week, Blue will rely more on his running to make a difference if he is given the starting nod this week.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have looked like the real deal so far this season, and quarterback Tony Romo was a big reason for that against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4. He completed 22 passes on just 29 attempts against the Saints for 262 yards and three touchdowns. Romo found wide receiver Terrance Williams for two of those scores and was tasked with simply managing the game in the second half with his team up big. While he will be up against a better defense in Week 5, the former Pro Bowler looks to be getting better as the weeks go by.
One reason for Romo's improved play, of course, is that defenses have to protect against the NFL's best fantasy rusher this season: DeMarco Murray. Murray ran all over the Saints last week, to the tune of 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He now leads all running backs with 534 yards rushing this season on 99 attempts. That's a healthy 5.3 yards-per-carry average. While Murray is expected to come back to earth again given that he's on pace for over 2,000 rushing yards at the moment, fantasy owners have to keep rolling with him right now, given that he's absolutely on fire.
