Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has been wildly inconsistent as a fantasy performer so far this season. That inconsistency continued Sunday, as Stafford struggled in the Lions' 17-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Matthew Stafford continues inconsistent fantasy season with Sunday dud
The Detroit quarterback struggled against Buffalo Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stafford threw for 221 yards on 18-of-31 passing in the game. He connected on a 9-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Golden Tate late in the first quarter and also threw an interception.
Fantasy impact: Stafford’s game-by-game fantasy scoring so far this season: 29, 13, 3, 25 and now 10. If you can find a pattern in that series, more power to you. His single-game passer ratings have been 116 or higher, or 78 or lower, and he now has six touchdown passes against four interceptions.
It has to have hurt Stafford to be largely without wide receiver Calvin Johnson and entirely without running back Joique Bell in Sunday's game (though that was basically the case a week ago, when he put up 25 points). With a group of friendly matchups in the coming weeks -- Minnesota, New Orleans and Atlanta the next three weeks -- Stafford is still definitely a starting fantasy quarterback, but you'd like to see more consistency out of him.
