Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan completed 29 of his 45 passes against the New York Giants during a loss on Sunday, totaling 316 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Matt Ryan puts up a mediocre fantasy line in loss
Matt Ryan was saved by a long TD. We break down the fantasy implications.

His stat line is very misleading and he was saved by a 74-yard touchdown catch by Antone Smith, who broke a tackle near the line of scrimmage and took it to the house. He was also lucky to have Julio Jones and targeted him 16 times.
The Falcons have a terrible defense and they can't get their rushing attack going at all. In fact, they had a fourth-down situation late in the fourth quarter and almost any other team would have punted, but coach Mike Smith has absolutely zero confidence in his defense.
Additionally, the Falcons have had a carousel in their offensive line and it’s made it very tough to protect Ryan and jumpstart their rushing attack.
Fantasy impact: Ryan is actually in a great situation as a fantasy quarterback, but he just struggles on the road. He'll be a near must-play option against the Bears in Week 6 at home.
