New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made his NFL debut on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, catching a touchdown on his way to four receptions and 44 receiving yards.
Odell Beckham Jr. scores in his fantasy debut
Odell Beckham Jr. scored in his debut. We break down the fantasy implications.

He’s only 5’11, but he plays like he’s 6’3. Odell’s touchdowns was a 15-yard fade route and he even had a defensive holding against him on the play. He ran mostly underneath stuff for the Giants and saw five targets.
This comes as a bit of a shock. The team has said multiple times that Beckham wasn’t going to be a major factor, but they increased his snaps as the game progressed. Beckham’s hamstring has bothered him since spring workouts and he had little time to practice since he was drafted.
The Giants have Victor Cruz entrenched as their go-to guy and Rueben Randle has also been targeted 10 times in three consecutive games. Plus, tight end Larry Donnell is no fluke.
Fantasy impact: Chances are you weren’t counting on him today, but you might be in the future. He’s far from a strong bet for production and is more of a stash in deep leagues.
