Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray has been the NFL's top running back so far this season. That dominance continued Sunday, as Murray had another huge game in the Cowboys' 20-17 overtime win over the Houston Texans.
DeMarco Murray continues monster fantasy season for Cowboys
Sunday was the running back’s first game without a touchdown this season, but he is still amassing huge yardage. We break down the fantasy implications.

Murray had 136 rushing yards on 31 carries in the game, adding 56 receiving yards on six catches. He did fumble once and didn't score, but it was still an enormous game. No. 2 running back Joseph Randle added 4 rushing yards on two carries.
Fantasy impact: You’d like to see Murray control the ball a little better, considering Sunday’s lost fumble was his fourth in five games. That said, recovery of fumbles is often fluky, and the fact that all four of Murray’s fumbles this season have been recovered by the opposition is bad luck as much as anything.
Perhaps the more worrying thing about Murray is his workload. The running back now has 130 carries and 145 total touches through five games, putting him on pace this season for 416 and 464, respectively. For a player who has had battled injuries throughout his career, that workload is a little scary.
Still, Murray has been amazing this season, and he’s not only cemented himself as an every-week starter, he would probably be the No. 1 overall pick if fantasy drafts were redone today.
