Johnson has not looked good the past couple of weeks, something that's glaringly obvious given that a lot is expected out of the man with the best claim for the best receiver in the NFL. Even if Johnson feels like he is ready to contribute -- even in a small way -- heading into the team's Week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings, it might be a smart option to keep him on the sidelines until he's 100 percent.
Fantasy Impact: We used the word "decoy" above and it applies. Johnson saw just two targets against the New York Jets in Week 4 and one target against the Bills in Week 5. Maybe that's effective for the Lions overall, but for fantasy owners, it's incredibly frustrating. It's even more so when the player suffers a setback to his injuries while providing little on-the-field benefit. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on Johnson going forward.
