Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith gave quarterback Mike Glennon another vote of confidence at his Monday press conference. Smith said that the "odds are" Glennon will start against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6.
Mike Glennon expected to remain starter, has mid-range fantasy value
Mike Glennon had another solid performance in Week 5 and should remain the Bucs’ starter going forward. We break down the fantasy implications.

Glennon got his second straight start on Sunday with Josh McCown still out. He completed 19 of his 32 passes for 249 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Tampa Bay's overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints. Through three games, Glennon has now completed 58.2 percent of his passes for 672 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions, throwing for 6.9 yards per attempt.
Fantasy impact: Smith remains an enigma when it comes to picking his quarterback. So far, though, Glennon has shown more ability than McCown did, moving the offense with consistency and putting Vincent Jackson back on the WR2 map. The Bucs are 1-4 but almost pulled off a big road win over the Saints and still have a fighting chance in the weak NFC South. It's obvious by now that Glennon gives them the best chance to win. He remains on the QB2 radar against the Ravens next week.
