Washington tight end Jordan Reed will not play against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5 on Monday. He has been out since Week 1 with his hamstring strain and could return for Week 6.
Niles Paul will start and has fantasy value with Jordan Reed out
Niles Paul is active and Jordan Reed is out. We break down the fantasy implications.

Niles Paul (concussion) will get the start at tight end for Washington. He suffered a gruesome concussion on Thursday Night Football in Week 4, but the extra days between contests allowed him to recover in time for the home game.
Paul was able to light it up before his head injury and he would have turned in his third consecutive big game. He has owned the middle for the Washington team and he will likely do so again even on short reps at practice. On the downside, he is going up against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
Fantasy impact: If you started Paul, you must have been in a tight spot. The two will likely be splitting targets once Reed returns, so it’s not a great situation for fantasy owners.
