Fantasy Impact: Brown is returning to the Chargers due to a handful of injuries that have decimated the Chargers' lineup. Donald Brown (concussion), Ryan Mathews (sprained knee) and Danny Woodhead (knee) are all out for the foreseeable future.
Although Brown will suddenly have the potential to be pushed into a running back-by-committee situation, it's likely that Branden Oliver will get the majority of the touches against the Oakland Raiders in Week 6. Oliver managed 182 total yards and a pair of touchdowns on 23 touches in the team's Week 5 win over the New York Jets.
Oliver’s outstanding performance likely leaves Brown as more of a pass blocker than a go-to option for fantasy owners at the moment.
