Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (right toe) was carted off of the practice field on Wednesday after aggravating his injury, according to NFL access. Green didn't play in Week 2 because of the same injury and his Week 6 status for the game against the Carolina Panthers appears to be in doubt.
A.J. Green carted off the practice field Wednesday, fantasy status questionable
The Bengals’ star receiver had to be driven off of the field on a cart at Wednesday’s practice with an injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Green is absolutely an elite fantasy receiver, even when he has to play banged up. In three games so far this season, he has 17 catches for 314 yards and two touchdowns. The news is unfortunate for his fantasy owners as a toe ailment can impact a player all year long.
To add insult to injury, the Bengals had their bye in Week 4, so Green won’t have the benefit of getting a rest without missing game action. On top of that, the Carolina Panthers have given up more than 30 points per game in each of the last three weeks, which could have equated to a big day for Green.
Fantasy owners can only hope Green plays through the pain, but it looks like other options may have to be exhausted. Mohamed Sanu and Dane Sanzenbacher will have to fill in the gap left behind by Green should he sit out in Week 6.
