Fantasy football projections, Week 6: Colts-Texans featuring Andrew Luck, Reggie Wayne and Arian Foster

We break down the Week 6 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans.

The Week 6 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans features two teams battling for sole possession of the AFC South Division lead. We've got the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

Indianapolis Colts

Quarterback Andrew Luck has finally come back down to earth again after three straight weeks of being absolutely on fire. The Baltimore Ravens held Luck to a single touchdown pass last week, marking the first time all year he's posted less than two. That said, Luck has attempted at least 39 passes in all, but one game this year and is a good bet to post at least 300 passing yards on any given Sunday. He should continue to sling the rock against the Texans.

When Luck does go to the air, some of his completions will no doubt hit the chest of receiver Reggie Wayne, who has posted 14 catches for 196 yards and a touchdown in the last two games combined. He's been targeted a total of 20 times in each of those games and it seems that even though he's getting older now, Wayne is still as steady as they come in terms of getting open. He'll be ready to start for fantasy owners on Thursday.

Houston Texans

It appears that running back Arian Foster might finally be 100-percent healthy, after struggling with a hamstring injury throughout the first few weeks of the season. Fantasy owners would naturally arrive at that conclusion when a player like Foster scorches the Dallas Cowboys for 157 rushing yards on 23 carries to go with a pair of scores. In Week 6, Foster will face a Colts' defense that ranks in the middle of the pack against fantasy rushers, and you can bet he'll see a lot of work if the Texans are to walk away with a win.

When the Texans do go to the air, DeAndre Hopkins will likely be on the receiving end of a healthy number of targets. Through five games this season, Hopkins has only let greater than two targets elude him only once. Although he's only had a single 100-yard receiving game thus far this season, his value is slowly increasing as teammate Andre Johnson's begins to decrease given that he's aging. Hopkins is a good bet to find the end zone against the Colts.
