Washington tight end Jordan Reed said he felt very good after practice on Thursday. He has been out since Week 1 due to a nagging hamstring strain and is expected to play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.
Fantasy owners might want to pick up Jordan Reed
Jordan Reed looks like he’ll be back for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reed was on the practice field to start the week heading into Week 5, but he went the other way and missed practice as the week progressed. The good news is that he’s close to full speed on Thursday and he should be in the starting lineup.
Although, Reed has multiple hamstring strains in his playing career and there is a good chance he suffers an aggravation. While he was out, Niles Paul stepped up, but did suffer a concussion in Week 5. Paul should be capable of stepping up should Reed be limited.
Fantasy impact: Reed is worth an add, but so much time off makes him a risky play. However, it’s a great matchup with the Cardinals habitually giving up huge games to tight ends. He’s a TE2 with upside.
