The Baltimore Ravens have hinted around at it for a few weeks now, but Sunday they might as well have come out and told fantasy owners to stop considering Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro viable fantasy options. The two running backs barely factored into the team's 21-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.

It appears there is one and only one running back to own out of Baltimore. We break down the fantasy implications.

Pierce outgained Taliaferro on Sunday, with 31 rushing yards on eight carries, compared to Taliaferro’s 10 on three. That, however, comes on the heels of a total of zero points from Pierce the last two weeks, including Week 8, when he was a healthy scratch. Taliaferro, meanwhile, had a strong game in Week 8, but fumbled in Week 9 and saw his touches almost completely evaporate Sunday.
Fantasy impact: While Justin Forsett has been dominating as Baltimore’s No. 1 running back (he’s averaging more than 10.5 fantasy points a game on the season), fantasy owners skeptical that the 29-year-old career backup has emerged to this extent keep looking for another guy in the Baltimore backfield to invest in. At this point, though, that answer is “no one.” Neither Pierce nor Taliaferro is offering anything right now, and if Forsett were to get hurt, there isn’t a clear next-man-up to go to. Drop them both.
