He was the leading receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10, but Cecil Shorts can't seem to escape a weekly injury scare. After bypassing a questionable tag due to his hamstring, Shorts managed 119 receiving yards against the Dallas Cowboys. Shorts was evaluated for a concussion later in the game. He was reportedly cleared to play, but never returned. Fellow wide receiver Allen Hurns couldn't escape a concussion, however. Regardless of Shorts' injury scare, he has a bye week to continue working toward 100-percent health. The Jaguars will face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 11: Cecil Shorts has big day despite injury scare
Shorts put up some impressive numbers on Sunday before being evaluated for a concussion. We take a look at his fantasy value moving forward.

Fantasy impact: If Shorts could simply string together a handful of games at 100-percent health, he could end up being a solid WR3 for fantasy owners. The targets are there, and the Jaguars are constantly leaning on their receivers to play catch up with opponents. Shorts’ shaky availability on a weekly basis makes him more of a boom or bust WR4.
