It's been a relatively quiet rookie season for Carlos Hyde. Whenever he finds the end zone, it reminds everyone that he's still waiting for his chance at a big workload. Unfortunately for Hyde, Frank Gore is still playing at a very high level at 31 years old. Hyde rushed four times for 36 yards and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. In comparison, Gore saw 23 carries for 81 yards and a score. Hyde hadn't seen more than three carries since Week 6.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 11: Carlos Hyde finds the end zone, remains unpredictable
Hyde actually found some fantasy production on Sunday. We take a look at his fantasy value moving forward.

Fantasy impact: While Hyde was likely thrilled to find the end zone, there’s no reason for fantasy owners to celebrate. Gore is still firmly holding the starting position. Hyde will continue to be a fantasy handcuff. Even when given double-digit carries, Hyde hasn’t shown a ton of upside. He was averaging 3.6 yards per carry heading into Sunday’s game. He’s worth hanging on to if you have the space on your bench, but don’t hesitate to drop him if you have real needs on any given week.
