Josh McCown returned as the starting quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10. He finished with 301 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. McCown also rushed for 39 yards, which led the team. The Buccaneers ultimately lost to the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the loss, it was McCown's best statistical performance in 2014.

Fantasy impact: There really hasn’t been a viable fantasy football quarterback in Tampa Bay all season, and McCown’s performance is unlikely to change that. Keep in mind that the Falcons have been extremely pedestrian against opposing quarterbacks. In fact, the running game should have performed much better than it did against Atlanta. The fact that McCown led the Buccaneers in rushing is concerning. Tampa Bay’s offense is too inconsistent, and McCown hasn’t been much of a producer for fantasy owners even when he started the season before getting injured. It’s a situation to avoid. He’s a QB2 for the remainder of the season.
