Quarterback Josh McCown was the leading rusher for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10. It wasn't a good day for the Tampa Bay backfield. Bobby Rainey had six carries for 14 yards. He salvaged his day to some degree by catching four passes for 42 yards. Rookie Charles Sims made his NFL debut rushing eight times for 23 yards. He also got involved in the receiving game, catching two passes for 17 yards. Mike James had four attempts for 16 yards. To make matters more murky, Doug Martin could return in Week 11.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 11: Buccaneers backfield is murky, Bobby Rainey rushes for 14 yards
It’s messy for owners of Tampa Bay running backs. We take a look at their fantasy value moving forward.

Fantasy impact: There are plenty of angles to approach this backfield. Rainey was given the start and didn’t have much for competition despite his own poor performance. Sims did fumble, but Tampa Bay seemed committed to giving him opportunities. He arguably has the most upside as a fresh set of legs. Martin could return and bounce back with the lack of production at the position. However, it really comes down to the fact that Tampa Bay’s backfield is one to avoid.
