Ronnie Hillman had at least one more week before the return of Montee Ball, but his time as the Broncos featured back was cut short in Week 10. C.J. Anderson was clearly the hot hand on Sunday afternoon. Anderson finished with 90 yards on 13 carries. He caught four passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Hillman managed just 13 yards on six carries. He also caught two passes for 9 yards. It's worth noting that Hillman was pulled while dealing with a foot injury. It's likely that Montee Ball will return in Week 11, leaving both the Broncos and fantasy owners with an unpredictable backfield leader.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 11: C.J. Anderson steps up for Broncos as Ronnie Hillman disappoints
Hillman’s workload may be dwindling. We take a look at the fantasy situation in the Denver Broncos backfield.

Fantasy impact: This couldn’t be more of a wait-and-see situation for fantasy owners. If we had to predict which running back is more likely to lose in this scenario, it’s Hillman. Anderson and Ball are strong backs that are pretty versatile while still powerful between the tackles. Hillman could easily go back to being a change-of-pace back when Ball returns. However, it’s too soon to recommend dropping Hillman. It’s certainly a mess for fantasy purposes, but Week 11 could start providing some answers. Stash all three running backs, and grab Anderson if he’s available on your waiver wire.
