New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings appears close to returning from a knee injury that has kept him out since Oct. 5. After getting in some limited practices prior to Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, Jennings was inactive but things are "looking good" for a return in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN.
Rashad Jennings’ return is ‘looking good,’ has fantasy value if healthy
Rashad Jennings may be close to coming back from injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jennings getting in the practices last week is definitely a good sign. It’s possible he was close to playing against the Seahawks and the Giants simply wanted to give him more rest, but that’s just speculation. New York hasn’t run the ball very well this year, with 104.2 rushing yards per game, 17th in the league. But they were an awful lot better when Jennings was playing. He had 91 carries for 396 yards and two touchdowns before going down with the injury.
Fantasy Impact: Coming back to take on the 49ers is a tough draw for any running back, as the 49ers allow just 91.2 rushing yards per game on average. That said, Jennings is an immediate upgrade for the Giants and if he’s good to go, then fantasy owners should consider him a must-start. Fantasy owners should watch the practice reports this week as nothing is guaranteed, however.
