Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee will get a bigger role in the team's offense with Allen Robinson on injured reserve, according to Ken Hornack of Fox Sports. Lee has been the fourth receiver on the field, behind Robinson, Cecil Shorts III and Allen Hurns, and thus hasn't made much of an impact this season. Robinson suffered a stress fracture in his right foot and is out for the season.
Marqise Lee to get bigger role in offense; fantasy value low for now
Lee is going to get an expanded role in Jacksonville’s offense. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lee has just 13 receptions for 141 yards through 10 games, with no touchdowns. He hasn’t had much playing time, and he also had hamstring injuries sideline him throughout training camp. Lee, a rookie second-round pick, didn’t get much of a chance to establish himself on offense thanks to the injuries. Now it’s looking like he could become a big part of Jacksonville’s offense.
Fantasy Impact: Lee should be the third receiver on the field and while that doesn’t necessarily mean much in Jacksonville’s offense, it could lead to some fantasy production. If Lee plays well with his expanded role, the Jaguars may give him some starting snaps, and that’s where the real fantasy value would kick in. For now, he might be worth owning, but he’s not yet worth a start.
