Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard has been ruled out against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Bernard is dealing with a hip injury he sustained in Week 8, and though he did manage to practice on a limited basis and work on a side field this past week, he had little chance of playing in Sunday's game.
Giovani Bernard injury update: Bengals RB ruled out for Week 11; Jeremy Hill has fantasy value
Giovani Bernard has been ruled out for Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bernard was running well before going down with his injury. He has 109 carries for 446 yards and five touchdowns on the season, with a per-carry average of 4.1 yards. Rookie Jeremy Hill has ran the ball well in Bernard's absence, though, with 24 carries for 154 yards and two touchdowns against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 and 12 carries for 55 yards against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.
Fantasy Impact: Losing Bernard is tough, but hopefully fantasy owners were able to get Hill before it was too late. Hill is absolutely worth a start in Bernard’s place, and will probably cause the both of them to lose value when they’re both healthy as the Bengals will likely want to split carries. But for now, Hill is the guy and he should start against New Orleans.
